		<description>I read this article as well, and while hilarious, I was surprised to see that people are still not following the most basic of PR rules.  I've always made it a point to read the publications I pitch to on a regular basis - and if a new outlet, to get to know it before approaching.  I can't tell you how much of a difference it makes in not only getting pieces placed, but also in earning journalists' respect.</description>
