So this is a bit off of our regular beat, but we thought it was too good not to share. American Greetings has announced a Twitter contest, testing shoppers’ skills at crafting romantic sentiments for a chance at daily prizes valued at $350.00 and a grand prize of $1,000.00.
Running every weekday through Friday, February 12, the greeting card company will be counting down to Valentine’s Day with the “Follow the Love” contest. To become eligible, just follow AMgreetings on Twitter, (@AmGreetings) submit a tweet based on the question of the day, and tag your submission #LoveAG. Each weekday a new question will be introduced for contestants to write towards and the previous day’s winner will be announced. Relationship experts from American Greetings will judge the daily submissions to determine the most clever and entertaining entry.
Consumers submitting entries that are selected by the American Greetings judges will be awarded the daily prize of a $100.00 retailer gift card and a $250.00 cash gift card. All consumers who submit an appropriate entry (proper tag and content) will be eligible for the final grand prize drawing for $1,000.00, which will take place at the conclusion of the daily contest on Friday, February 12.
